League of Legends rostermania is in full swing and now FlyQuest have become the latest team to make surprising changes.

The North American team, part-owned by the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks, had little success in the first of their two NA LCS splits but found more joy in the summer.

Last season, FlyQuest finished the Spring split in eighth place, winning only six games and finishing with a record of six wins and twelve losses. They improved in the summer split, winning 10 games and edging out OpTic Gaming for the final playoff spot. Their season ended as they were handily beaten 3-0 by 100 Thieves in the playoffs.

The changes have come less than a week after it was reported that the team had signed former Team Liquid mid laner Eugene ‘Pobelter’ Park.

Now, though, they’ll be on the lookout for a new top laner and jungler after the team announced they have released Lee ‘Flame’ Jong-ho and William ‘Meteos’ Hartman.

Meteos, who spent the majority of his early career with Cloud9, was one of the NA LCS’ best junglers in the spring split.

As for Flame, who took up one of FlyQuest’s import slots, he had revealed at the beginning of November that he was able to explore his options despite still being under contract with the team.

After FlyQuest confirmed the changes, the South Korean took to Twitter to thank the fans and possibly let slip that he won’t be returning to the NA LCS next season.

FlyQuest will move towards the new season of the NA LCS – which is set to begin in January – with only three players officially announced on their roster.
