Jiaoqiu is a 5-star Fire Nihility unit in Honkai Star Rail and is a premium support option for Acheron.
Jiaoqiu is an interesting character in the game. He can provide Nihility buffs and boosts Ultimate DMG by a significant amount. The character also synergizes the best with Acheron and can be considered a premium support for her team.
However, Jiaoqiu is not as viable outside of Acheron’s team, which makes him a niche unit. Nevertheless, his performance within his own domain is exceptional and worth a pull for those players who love to reach peak potential for their DPS units.

Best weapons for Jiaoqiu
Those Many Springs
This is a 5-star Nihility Light Cone that is the best for the unit in Honkai Star Rail. This Light Cone increases the Effect Hit Rate of the wearer by 60%. Additionally, upon using Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate ATK, the wearer has a 69% chance to inflict Unarmored. In this state, the enemy target will receive 10% increased damage.
If the enemy is inflicted by a DoT status effect, the Unarmored effect has a 60% chance of changing to Cornered. In this state, the enemy will receive 14% additional DMG.
Incessant Rain
This is an alternative Light Cone for Jiaoqiu that you can consider using. Upon dealing damage to an enemy with three or more debuffs, the wearer of this Light Cone receives a 12% Crit Rate boost. Additionally, using Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate on an enemy leads to the Aether Code debuff.
Enemies under the influence of this debuff take 12% additional damage.
Best Relic and Ornament for Jiaoqiu

Best Jiaoqiu team comp
The best units to pair alongside Jiaoqiu are Acheron, Pela, and Aventurine. In this team, Jiaoqiu is the primary buffer who will increase the damage output of Acheron’s ultimate, while affecting enemies with Dot status.
Pela is also a debuffer who will reduce the enemy’s DEF, which helps boost Acheron’s DPS further. Aventurine will be the team’s sustainer, providing shields and keeping the team healthy. Finally, Acheron is the primary DPS who will focus on slashing down enemies as quickly as possible.
Additionally, you can also run him alongside Kafka, Black Swan, and Huohuo. This is a full DoT team with Kafka being the main DPS and Black Swan further provides DoT stacks on enemies. Huohuo is the sustainer who will provide healing while also enhancing the team’s ATK.

- Level 2- From Savor Comes Suffer: When an enemy target is afflicted with Ashen Roast, increases the multiplier for the Fire DoT dealt by Ashen Roast to this target by 300%.
