While Honkai Star Rail’s expansive universe can be enjoyed without spending a dime, if you’re looking to add all the best characters to your lineup, you’ll also need to accumulate a significant amount of Stellar Jade. This is where redeemable codes will help you.
Playing all the added content in each version will net you a decent amount of these sparkling crystals, but they aren’t always enough to secure a unit. This is when things like codes can provide a much-needed boost, especially if you’re one or two pulls short of pity.
Active rewards in Honkai Star Rail
As of August 30, 2024, there are 6 active codes in Honkai Star Rail, and four of them reward 190 worth of Stellar Jade:

Version 2.5 livestream codes
For every version livestream, Honkai Star Rail shares three codes, but they only last for a day or so. The three codes for the 2.5 livestream offer 300 Stellar Jade along with other rewards.

- Once you’re in the game, open the phone menu (Options for PlayStation, ESC for PC, and phone icon for mobile).
- Click on the three dots located to the right of your character’s name and select ‘Redemption Code‘ as shown in the image below.
- Input the code into the provided field and confirm.
- Select the mailbox at the top of the right-hand corner to claim your rewards.

For livestream codes, you can also just log in to your HoYoLab account, and whenever they’re live, you’ll find them in the “HoYo Guide” section of Honkai Star Rail. All you have to do is click on “Claim” and codes will be sent directly to your in-game mail and you don’t even have to enter them.

Redeeming codes in Honkai Star Rail is essential, as they go a long way in helping you claim the best characters available in the game as well as upgrade them. You’ll be able to get free Stellar Jade and Credits, as well as other upgrade materials like Traveler’s Guides and Aether.
