Trailblazers have been waiting for Honkai Star Rail’s 1.3 update and it’s finally arrived. There’s a lot of great content to enjoy in this update, including new characters and events.
The 1.3 update for Honkai Star Rail has been released, and players can dive into the game‘s new content while spending their hard-earned Stellar Jade on the most recent banners.
There are some great banners to pull on in this update, too, with new 5-star characters Imbibitor Lunae and Fu Xuan featured in Phase 1 and 2 respectively, as well as the 4-star healer Lynx. Alongside these new banners, players can take part in a number of new events all of which contain exciting rewards.

Honkai Star Rail 1.3 release date
The Honkai Star Rail 1.3 update was released on August 30, 2023.
While no official details have been revealed yet, it’s expected that Phase 2 of the update will begin on September 20, 2023. As soon as HoYoverse confirms the dates we’ll be sure to update this page.
Honkai Star Rail 1.3 banners
The latest Honkai Star Rail banner has introduced a brand new 5-star Imaginary form of Dan Heng called Imbibtor Lunae which players will be able to obtain via the Phase 1 banner from August 30, 2023, to September 20, 2023.
The following 4-stars will also be available in the banner:
During Phase 2 of the update 5-star Quantum character Fu Xuan will debut, alongside the 4-star healer Lynx and the following 4-stars:

Simulated Universe: The Swarm Disaster
There are a number of new events in the 1.3 update, the main one being The Swarm Disaster which takes place in the game’s Simulated Universe.

During the event, the Simulated Universe stage map will take on the appearance of a chess board and players can gain special effects to perform specific actions.
Trailblazers will encounter tough enemies in The Swarm, including one called Swarm True Stings so you’ll have to be ready for a challenge. Depending on the actions you take in the event, there are multiple outcomes you can achieve.
The Spacestation Task Force event
Another activity you can take part in during the 1.3 update is the Spacestation Task Force event.
During this event, you’ll be able to remodel the space station with Wattson. You’ll need to assemble a team that meets specific requirements in order to gain Stellar Jade and exp materials.
Garden of Plenty
The Garden events return for the first time since version 1.1 in Honkai Star Rail’s 1.3 update.
During this event, Calyx (Golden) and Calyx (Crimson) will provide the player with double rewards up to a maximum of 12 times per day so it’s well worth taking advantage of.
Honkai Star Rail 1.3 daily login event
The Honkai Star Rail 1.3 update rewards players with a total of seven Star Rail Special Passes.
Simply log into the game at any point during the 1.3 update to claim them. It’s important to note, that these Special Passes can be spent on the Fu Xuan and Imbibitor Lunae banners, which is great news for those aiming to unlock them.
Trailblaze Power cap enhancement
In addition to the new banners and events, the Trailblaze Power cap has now been enhanced allowing players to store surplus power, which will help lead to more thrilling adventures and challenges.
