All current Warbonds in Helldivers 2 & how to get them

Looking to bag yourself some extra armor, weapons, or Super Credits in Helldivers 2? Well, Warbonds are the perfect way to do so.

When it comes to Helldivers 2, the battle for democracy is never over. Whether your Helldiver is sacrificing themselves to destroy the Terminids or Automatons, or completing missions to drive back hordes of enemies, a soldier’s job is never over.

Luckily, even with the death and battles, the rewards are pretty sweet thanks to the Warbonds. Warbonds are essentially battle-passes in Helldivers 2. As you complete missions you’ll gain Medals, which in turn can be used to buy rewards from the Warbonds.

So, here’s everything you need to know about Warbonds in Helldivers 2, all the currently available rewards, and whether they have an expiry date.

All current Warbonds

Helldivers Mobilize Warbond

The Helldivers 2 Helldivers Mobilize Warbond was the first Warbond to arrive in the game, and is free for all players to enjoy.

It contains some fantastic weapons, armor, Super Credits, and so much more so players will easily be able to jump in and grab whatever customization or added bonuses they choose to equip.

Steeled Veterans Warbond

Coming into the game along with the Steeled Veterans Warbond, this Helldivers 2 pass was the first premium addition to the game. As such, players need to own the Deluxe Edition to get hold of this Warbond.

The Super Citizen Edition will cost you $59.99 and comes with a variety of new content, with the Steeled Veterans Warbond included.

Cutting Edge Warbond

Added to Helldivers 2 on March 14, 2024, the Cutting Edge Warbond brings brand-new weapons, armor, poses, and more to the game.

Unfortunately, it’s not free and players will need to spend 1,000 Super Credits to unlock all three pages. Luckily, you can grab some Super Credits from the previous Warbonds, which could tip you over into being able to afford the pass.

Democratic Detonation Warbond

The Helldivers 2 Democratic Detonation Warbond was added to the game on April 11, 2024, and brings in some exciting new weapons, emotes, boosters, and so much more.

As it goes with the previous Warbonds, Democratic Detonation will set players back 1,000 Super Credits to unlock all three pages, but given the power of that booster, it’s well worth saving your Credits and grabbing this as soon as you can.

Polar Patriot Warbond

Added to Helldivers 2 on May 9, 2024, the Polar Patriot Warbond introduces all things chilly, from new weapons, grenades, armor, and more.

The Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits to unlock all three pages, but you’ll need Medals to access each reward.

Viper Commandos

Brought to Helldivers 2 on June 13, 2024, Arrowhead Games Studios introduced a jungle-inspired Warbond to the adventure, adding in Throwing Knives, new weapons, two new Armor Sets, and some fantastic capes for players to enjoy.

The Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits to unlock all three of its pages, but you still need Medals to unlock the specific rewards.

Freedom’s Flame

Released on August 8, 2024, the Freedom’s Flame Warbond is all about fire. As such, Firebomb Hellpods were added, along with a secondary weapon that acts as a Flamethrower pistol, and two primary weapons that feel just as firey. Then there are the two Armor sets which grant players 75% damage resistance to fire.

As is standard, the Warbond costs 1,000 Super Credits to gain access to all three pages.

Upcoming Warbonds

The next Warbond to arrive in Helldivers 2 is the Chemical Agents Warbond. It’ll be unleashed on September 19, 2024 and will feature tons of new content from new capes, player banners, Utilities, Patterns, Emotes, and even two new Stratagems and Armor Sets.

Naturally, the focus is all around “weapons of gas destruction”.

One of the most notable additions is the P-11 Stim Pistol, which allows players to heal each other from far away and could be a game-changer going forward. On top of this, the new armors have an “Advanced Filtration passive” meaning players aren’t affected by the gas they fight with.

While there’s no confirmation regarding the cost, given the previous Warbonds, this will likely cost 1,000 Super Credits to unlock, as well as the Medals you need for each reward.

Do Helldivers 2 Warbonds have an end date?

The Helldivers 2 Warbonds don’t have an end date, and therefore won’t expire any time soon.

While there’s not been any distinct confirmation regarding an end date for the Helldivers 2 Warbonds, the lack of a clear time limit or expiry date suggests they’re here to stay, so there’s no need to rush – unless Super Earth is threatened.
