Between playing the main campaign, and joining your friends in GTA Online there’s a lot to do in GTA 5 to keep you busy until GTA 6. If you feel like mixing things up, cheats are a great way to shake up your time in Los Santos.
From changing the weather, driving the fastest car, or using explosive ammo, these are all the GTA V cheats you can enable on Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, and PC.
Best GTA V cheats for Xbox Series S/X
While the best cheats to use will entirely depend on what you want to get out of your playthrough, these cheats could be ideal depending on what sort of experience you’re looking for in Los Santos:

God mode
If you want to rule the city feeling like a god, we’d strongly recommend using the Invincibility cheat as it removes any possible damage you could receive from attacks.
You can pair it with the Explosive Ammo, Explosive Melee Attack, and Flaming Bullets cheats to become even more powerful. Finally, just to get the pesky cops off your back, make sure Lower Wanted Level has been inputted so you can go about your business without having to regularly outrun the police.
Resourceful
If you want to keep the risk of getting Wasted but would still like a leg up applying Max Health & Armor would be the way to go. This won’t make you invincible but you’ll have as much Armor and the biggest possible Health pool.
You can keep your abilities topped out consistently by inputting the Recharge Players Ability cheat, and ensuring you’ve got enough Weapons & Guns.
We’d also recommend using Slow Motion Aim to give yourself a bit of extra time during gunfights.
Pure Chaos
Lastly, if you just want a chaotic experience Drunk Mode is always good fun.
Pair it with Super Jump, Faster Running, and Faster Swimming to make things even more ridiculous, and you’ll certainly have a unique play session in GTA 5.

How to use cheats in GTA V
Xbox consoles
You can use cheats on console by inputting them via the Xbox controller, as well as by using your character’s in-game cell phone to type them in.
Once a cheat code has been successfully entered, you’ll see a notification at the bottom of the screen confirming this.
PC
To enter GTA 5 cheat codes on PC, press the tilde key (~) to bring up the game’s console. This is where GTA cheats are inputted on PC, making it a little different from how it works on console.
It’s important to note that using cheats in GTA 5 disables Achievements, so it’s best to save the game first. Perhaps create a separate file where you can cheat to your heart’s content. Applying cheats throughout the game’s single-player campaign be a lot of fun and changes some missions completely, but we’d always recommend playing it legitimately first.
