Genshin Impact Version 3.3 is finally here and there’s plenty of exciting content in the game for fans to enjoy. Here’s everything we know about the Genshin Impact 3.3 update, including the character banners, events, and more.

While Travelers have been busy delving into the Genshin Impact 3.2 update, the new Version 3.3 content has now launched. Players can now take part in the Genius Invokation TCG and roll on the Scaramouche banner and Arataki Itto banner.

If that wasn’t enough, the ever-popular Windtrace event has returned alongside other exciting additions. Here’s everything you need to know about Genshin Impact 3.3, including the release date, character banners, and events.

Genshin Impact 3.3 release date

The Genshin Impact 3.3 update released on December 7, 2022. This date was officially revealed by HoYoverse and gives Travelers plenty of time to farm the Primogems needed to spend on the update’s 5-star banner characters.

Genshin Impact 3.3 livestream

The Genshin Impact 3.3 livestream was aired on the official Twitch channel on November 25, 2022, at 07:00 AM (UTC-5). Those that missed the stream can watch the VOD of the stream on Genshin Impact’s YouTube channel.

Scaramouche in Genshin ImpactHoYoverse
Scaramouche is the main 5-star release in the 3.3 update.

Scaramouche has finally made his long-awaited debut in the first phase of the 3.3 update alongside the Geo troublemaker, Arataki Itto. Scaramouche is No. 6 of the Fatui’s Eleven Harbingers – a villainous group that aims to wreak havoc across Teyvat.

This evil organization continually tries to foil the Traveler’s efforts, with Scaramouche always at the forefront of each scheme. Scaramouche’s abilities enable the Anemo Catalyst user to take to the skies and bombard his enemies with deadly AoE attacks.

Scaramouche is also joined by Faruzan, a new Anemo 4-star character who wields a bow. Phase 2 of the Genshin Impact 3.3 update will also see the rerelease of Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato. The four stars that will be joining these units have yet to be revealed, but we’ll hear more information in the weeks to come.

Genius Invokation TCG

Genshin Impact 3.3 has added the Genius Invokation TCG — a new permanent game mode.

Genius Invokation TCG is a permanent game mode that made its debut in the 3.3 update. The TCG enables Travelers to collect cards and battle against AI and other players in multiplayer PvP matches.

The Genshin Impact TCG mode features 220 cards and 25 of which are characters from the current playable character roster. Each game starts with both sides drawing five cards, then Travelers switch out cards in their hands and choose one character to be their Active Character.

Events

The 3.3 update sees the return of a number of fan-favorite events, with the addition of a new overworld balloon-collecting event. Travelers will once again be able to play Windtrace, the hide-and-seek-based mini-game that continues to prove incredibly popular.

Meanwhile, Misty Dungeon tasks players with fighting through domains using a team created from Trial Characters. Lastly, “Across the Wilderness” requires Travelers to collect Wilderness Balloons within a limited time.
