Genshin Impact Diluc & Fischl skins: Reveal, release date, more

Travelers will be able to purchase the new Diluc and Fischl skins in Genshin Impact’s 2.8 update, so here’s everything we know about these new cosmetics. 

Diluc and Fischl will be the latest characters to receive skins in Genshin Impact. Both outfits are available for purchase in the 2.8 update, which has added a new banner and summer-themed event to the game.

While Genshin Impact leaks previously uncovered details on these new skins, HoYoverse has now revealed how Travelers can unlock them. This news is obviously incredibly exciting for fans of Diluc and Fischl, especially given how both characters have yet to receive any cosmetics.

Diluc and Fischl skin release date

Both Diluc and Fischl’s skins will release as part of Genshin Impact’s 2.8 update. This means Travelers will be able to unlock them when the update goes live on July 13, 2022.

Official artwork for both skins has recently been revealed by HoYoverse, with the confirmation that Diluc’s new outfit is a paid skin, whereas Fischl’s will be available for free. 

The Diluc skin is known as the “Red Dead of Night” and the Fischl’s skin is named  “Ein Immernachtstraum”, which is said to be the German title of Shakespeare’s comedy – A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

According to the official description, Diluc’s new outfit is one he wears during covert actions. It is said to resemble “a flame dancing in the shadows” and leaves behind crimson red traces at the edges of the enemy’s vision that will “scar their nightmares forever.”

Meanwhile, Fischl’s skin is a ceremonial outfit that has been specifically made for the Prinzessin. It is said to reflect her courage, sincerity, and kindness.

How to unlock Diluc and Fischl skins?

Diluc and Fischl’s skins follow a similar pattern to the game’s previous cosmetic releases. During the 2.8 update, Diluc’s skin can be purchased in the in-game Shop for a limited-time discount. 

The discount price of the outfit is 1,980 Genesis Crystals, which will revert to 2,480 Genesis Crystals after the limited-time discount ends on August 22, 2022.

Meanwhile, Fischl’s skin will be free to claim by completing requirements in the “Resonating Visions” event. After the end of Version 2.8, “Ein Immernachtstraum” will be available for purchase in the Character Outfit Shop for 1,680 Genesis Crystals.
