Genshin Impact version 5.0 livestream has concluded and so here is what you need to know including banners, story, quality of life features, and anniversary rewards.
Genshin Impact version 5.0 is set to become one of the biggest ever in the history of the game. This patch will mark the release of the Pyro nation, Natlan, but players will be greeted with a lot more this time.
The developers are introducing several QoL changes like artifact stat adjustment, easier farming, and even how pity works. Apart from that, the anniversary rewards for the game have also been adjusted with surprises the players have been waiting for since 2021.

Genshin Impact Version 5.0 release date
Genshin Impact version 5.0, Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn, will be released on August 28, 2024. This was confirmed during the version 5.0 livestream.
Banners
Genshin Impact 5.0 will feature two new 5-star and one 4-star unit. Apart from that, players will also be able to pull for a couple of rerun units. Here are banners across both phases of the upcoming version update:

Story Quest
Genshin Impact 5.0 will feature Act I and Act II of Archon Quest Chapter V. The names of the two acts are as follows:

Anniversary Rewards
During Genshin Impact version 5.0, the game will celebrate its fourth anniversary. These are the rewards that have been planned for the players:
- Intertwined Fate x10
- Primogems x1600
- Sanctified Elixir x1
- Fragile Resin x2
- Fireborn Firesprite x1
- Kaboom Box x1
- Free 5-star selector x1
Quality of Life changes
In Genshin Impact version 5.0, the developers are introducing several changes that players have asked for quite a while. Here is an overview of what to expect:
- New Capturing Radiance pity system that makes it easier to pull promotional 5-star characters
- Weapon banner fate points reduced to 1.
- Artifacts can be converted to Artifact EXP while salvaging them.
- Sanctifying Elixir can be used to change Artifact affixes (This material can be obtained by extracting artifacts, exploring Natlan, and battle pass).
- Receive 500 Primogems for completing Natlan’s Archon Quest.
- Receive more Primogems by upgrading Statues of Seven and Shrines of Depth. The value is over 1600 Primogems.
- Completing character story quests within a designated duration will grant additional Primogems.
- Regional Specialties can now be tracked and farmed easily.
- World level 9 will be introduced after version 5.0 for more rewards.
