Creates a Grass Ring of Sanctification at the cost of part of her HP, dealing Electro DMG to nearby opponents. Follows your current active character around. Deals Electro DMG to nearby opponents every 1.5s and restores HP for active character(s) within the ring’s AoE based on Kuki Shinobu’s Max HP.

Elemental Burst: Gyoei Narukami Kariyama Rite

Stabs an evil-excoriating blade into the ground, creating a field that cleanses the area of all that is foul, dealing continuous Electro DMG to opponents within its AoE based on Shinobu’s Max HP.

If Shinobu’s HP is less than or equal to 50% when this skill is used, the field will last longer.

  • To Cloister Compassion (Level 1) — Gyoei Narukami Kariyama Rite’s AoE is increased by 50%.
  • To Forsake Fortune (Level 2)  Grass Ring Sanctifications duration is increased by 3s.
  • To Sequester Sorrow (Level 3) Increases the Level of Sanctifying Ring by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • To Sever Sealing (Level 4) — When the Normal, Charged or Plunging Attacks of characters affected by Shinobu’s Grass Ring of Sanctification hit opponents, a Thundergrass Mark will land on the opponent’s position and deal AoE Electro DMG based on 9.7% of Shinobu’s Max HP. This effect can occur once every 5s.
  • To Cease Courtesies (Level 5) — Increases the Level of Gyoei Narukami Kariyama Rite by 3. Maximum upgrade level is 15.
  • To Ward Weakness (Level 6) — When Kuki Shinobu’s HP drops to 25% or below, or when she takes lethal DMG: Shinobu will not fall as a result of the DMG sustained this time. She will gain 150 Elemental Mastery for 15s. This effect will automatically activate when her HP reaches 1. This effect can be triggered once every 60s.

Best Kuki Shinobu artifacts in Genshin Impact

We recommend using the four-piece Flower of Paradise Lost set if you plan to use Kuki as a sub-DPS. You can find the bonuses below:

  • 2-piece: Elemental Mastery +80
  • 4-piece: The equipping character’s Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon reaction DMG are increased by 40%. Additionally, after the equipping character triggers Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Burgeon, they will gain another 25% bonus to the effect mentioned prior. Each stack of this lasts 10s. Max 4 stacks simultaneously. This effect can only be triggered once per second. The character who equips this can still trigger its effects when not on the field.

  • 2-piece: HP +20%
  • 4-piece: When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, the ATK of all nearby party members is increased by 20% and their Shield Strength is increased by 30% for 3s. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.

Four-star weapon options for Kuki Shinobu are The Dockhand’s Assistant and the Xiphos’ MoonlightThe Dockhand’s Assistant has an HP substat that can increase Elemental Mastery after using an Elemental Skill or Burst.

On the other hand, Xiphos’ Moonlight is recommended for the Hyperbloom build as it has an Elemental Mastery substat. It will also grant units 0.036% Energy Recharge for each point of Elemental Mastery they possess.

Best Kuki Shinobu team comp in Genshin Impact

We recommend featuring Kuki Shinobu in a team focused on the Hyperbloom Elemental Reaction. Alongside Kuki, you should also include Alhaitham, Yelan, and Nahida. You can also replace Alhaitham for Cyno and Yelan for Xingqiu.
