One thing that would certainly be ‘innovative’ (although only for Apple, not the industry at large) would be a foldable iPhone, which has been rumored ever since Samsung released their ‘Fold’ last year.
Reputable Apple insider, Ming-Chi Kuo, via YourStory, has suggested that an “all-new form factor design” will kick off the next generation of iPhone.
5G on iPhone
5G is certainly the way of the future, and so it would make sense that Apple is lining this up for their new devices. However, according to Kuo, Apple’s own 5G chip will not be ready yet, and so they would have to rely on a chip from Qualcomm to enable 5G.
Apple Arcade and TV
There will almost certainly be new details on Apple’s gaming streaming service, Arcade, as well as updates about what is coming next for Apple TV. Arcade is set to launch this year, and is confirmed to have over 100 exclusive games.
iOS 13
In addition to new devices, Apple often reveals their upcoming operating systems too, and iOS 13 has already been confirmed, slated as the fastest iOS system to date.
We’re sure to get a much more detailed look at what is planned for the new iOS in 2019 keynote.
There will be much more too and hopefully a few surprises included. But, one thing’s for sure, you won’t want to miss this Apple Special Event as the industry leaders share their current and future plans.
