Zenless Zone Zero features plenty of unique playable characters, known as Agents, for you to use. Here’s a rundown of all the confirmed playable characters in the gacha game so far.
Despite the massive success of Honkai Star Rail and Genshin Impact, HoYoverse shows no signs of slowing down, and, Zenless Zone Zero brings a futuristic take to the gacha genre that will surely appeal to their already established fanbase.
Zenless Zone Zero combines the gacha elements of their previous releases with exciting dungeon-crawling gameplay and roguelike elements – and there’s a sizeable roster of characters to enjoy as well.

Belle & Wise
Belle and Wise are the player’s main characters in the game, akin to the Traveler in Genshin Impact and Trailblazer in Honkai Star Rail. Unlike HoYoverse’s other games, however, these two are non-combat characters and they act as proxies who guide those looking to enter the mysterious ‘Hollow’ dimensions in the game.
Anby Demara
Anby is a member of the Cunning Hares faction in Zenless Zone Zero. She’s a combat specialist with an extremely efficient fighting style. Her age and past are a complete mystery including where she learned how to fight.
Anby is an Electric attribute fighter who specializes in stunning her enemies. Her Special, EX Special, and Ultimate all deal upward Electric damage to enemies – so if you fancy stacking foes into the air and bringing them crashing down with shocks of electricity then Anby is the character for you.
Anton Ivanov
Anton is a senior staff member at Belobog Heavy Industries. He’s a confident leader with a lot of passion for his work and primarily acts as an onsite manager for the company where he’s always ready to take on more challenges.
Anton wields a unique drill weapon that’s imbued with electricity as he has the Electric attribute in Zenless Zone Zero. Activating Anton’s EX Special Attack, Horizon Smash, Bro!, will cause him to enter the Exposive Stance state where he deals even more damage to enemies.
Alexandrina Sebastiane
Alexandria is a member of Victoria Housekeeping in Zenless Zone Zero. She’s an Electric attribute character.
She wields puppets called Drusilla and Anastella in battle. The nature of the puppet strings means she can attack enemies from a mid-ranged distance and avoid close-quarters combat most of the time.
Ben Bigger
Ben Bigger is a bear who works at Belobog Heavy Industries. He works as the firm’s main accountant, is excellent at math, and has a fantastic memory, having memorized all of the ledgers in the office.
Ben has the Fire attribute in Zenless Zone Zero and specializes in defense. During combat, he can gain shields by activating and holding his Special Attack which will protect you from oncoming damage. His attacks also got stronger based on the amount of defense he has in a fight, so you should aim to keep increasing Ben’s defense in combat to deal more damage to enemies.
Billy Kid
Billy is another member of the Cunning Hares who works alongside Anby. He’s a cyborg who is a massive fan of The Starless Knights TV show, often referring to himself as one of the Knights and quoting lines from the show. He can tackle any challenge when things get serious.
Billy wields dual pistols in combat which means he can deal long-range damage to enemies. He’s also great at taking on groups of enemies at a time thanks to his Physical attack specialties that make crowd control easy.
Corin Wickes
Corin works for the Victoria Housekeeping faction.
While she can perform some devastating attacks with her trusty chainsaw, she’s not the most confident person. Corin is a Physical attribute character in Zenless Zone Zero. Her extendable chainsaw can deal slash attacks in combat, and if any other party members are in the same Faction or are Physical fighters, she’ll deal increased damage to any stunned enemies on the battlefield.
Ellen Joe
Ellen Joe is a member of Victora Housekeeping who uses the Ice attribute in the game.
Ellen’s Ultimate and Chain Attacks can both deal a massive amount of Ice damage in combat as she’ll jump into the air and crash down on enemies. She also can’t take any incoming damage for a short window of time here, so aim to trigger either as much as you can.
Grace Howard
Grace is a member of Belobog Heavy Industries in Zenless Zone Zero. She’s an Electric user who specializes in Anomaly buildup. By combining her more basic moves, Grace can build up Zap Stacks to further increase her electricity Anomaly build-up, and this can cause even more devastation with the Shock effect that deals Electric damage to enemies in intervals.
Grace’s Ultimate throws a powerful grenade into the air that splits into 4 smaller grenades that deal huge Electric damage across the battlefield.
Hoshimi Miyabi
Miyabi is the head of the faction Section 6 in Zenless Zone Zero. She’s the successor of a well-known material arts family and she has a strong sense of responsibility toward guarding the principles of New Eridu.

She aspires to own a sizable collection of swords and to build an unbreakable city management system. Miyabi is an Ice attribute character in the game, who uses powerful slash attacks against her enemies.
Koleda Belobog
Koleda is the leader of Belobog Heavy Industries, working alongside Ben and Anton. Despite being an efficient leader, Koleda can let her young age show on occasion which means she does rely on the full support of her followers.
Koleda uses the Fire attribute and specializes in stunning her foes. If you’ve got another party member who belongs to Belobog Heavy Industries or uses Fire, stunned enemies will take even more damage if Koleda successfully lands her EX Special Attack.
Lucy de Montefio
Lucy works alongside Piper Wheel for the Sons of Calydon faction. Based on official information that’s been revealed by HoYoverse, Lucy is a character with a lot of energy and has been reported as a missing person.
Little is known about Lucy’s combat skills yet aside from that fact she’s a support unit with the Fire attribute who will be able to buff her allies in combat.
Nekomiya Mana
Nekomiya Mana is another member of the Cunning Hares and has a reputation for being a trickster. She lives up to her reputation by having boundless amounts of energy which means she’s always thinking up new tricks to play on others. She’s curious, athletic, and daring.
Nekomiya is a Physical attribute character who specializes in fast attacks via dodge counters – moves that counter enemies whenever you successfully dodge incoming attacks.
Nicole Demara
As the founder of the Cunning Hares, Nicole is the extremely cunning leader of the faction.She loves obtaining money but can never seem to keep hold of much for long. Due to her all-or-nothing approach, she;’s unfortunately been blacklisted by a lot of clients.
Nicole uses the Ether attribute in combat, and her Chain Attack, EX Special Attack, and Ultimate Attack can all pull enemies into a powerful Ether Energy field. This not only does big Ether damage but also gives her fellow party members the perfect chance to deal more damage when enemies are being pulled around by the field.
Piper Wheel
Piper Wheel is an agent for the Sons of Calydon faction who works as their driver. Piper describes herself as a trucker so she’s clearly a vehicle enthusiast and expert.
She wields an axe in combat that can deal huge physical damage to foes.
Soldier 11
Soldier 11 is a model soldier whose identity is completely unknown due to her scrubbing it off the record years ago – she gave her name up a long time ago. When it comes to missions, nothing is more important than completing one successfully for Soldier 11.
Soldier 11’s biggest strength is her Fire Suppression ability which imbues her attacks with Fire damage that can last for up to 15 seconds.
Soukaku
Soukaku is a member of Section 6 in Zenless Zone Zero. She’s one of the most skilled members of her faction and can be extremely dangerous despite her young appearance. She loves food and hates nothing more than seeing people wasting it.
Soukaku has the Ice attribute and will get Vortex stacks whenever she uses her EX Special, Chain, or Ultimate. She can gain 3 stacks altogether, and consume them to use Fly the Flag – a move that can deal powerful ice damage, as well as gain an ATK buff that can be given to her teammates if they join the fight via Assist or Chain attacks.
Von Lycaon
Von Lycaon, often just known as Lycaon, is a member of Victoria Housekeeping. This wolflike character may look dangerous but he’s incredibly gentle at heart, and he takes great pride in his work as an attendant, not allowing any blemishes to be made.
Lycaon has the Ice attribute and is adept at stunning enemies. His core attacks can be charged and aimed directly forward to damage foes, which makes him particularly handy to have on your side during boss battles.
Zhu Yuan
Zhu Yuan is the team leader of the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team in Zenlsss Zone Zero.
She’s an Ether attribute character who can deal before Attack and Pierce damage in a fight. Zhu Yuan wields a gun during combat but can also use strong melee attacks. For example: her base attack uses a combination of bullets, material arts hits, or Ether buckshots in a series of up to 5 attacks to deal both Physical and Ether damage to foes.
How many characters are there?
There are a total of 20 characters in Zenles Zone Zero at the time of writing. However, only one of the protagonists, either Belle or Wise, will be available in your playthrough.
