XDefiant is the latest FPS title from Ubisoft, looking to be more of a COD-like shooter compared to the tactically designed Rainbow Six Siege.
Like fellow FPS titles, XDefiant will have various game modes to test your prowess against. One of those modes is Ranked Play, a competitive gauntlet for players to test their skills against the best of the best.
Does Ranked Play have a launch date in XDefiant?
XDefiant’s Ranked Play is not available at launch, however, Ranked [Trial Run] is in its place. This gives fans a look into what they can expect when the full experience arrives in Season 1, as confirmed by Ubisoft during the Ubisoft Forward showcase.
Ubisoft mentioned Season 1 news will go live on July 1, a day before the season launches. We’ll keep this space updated with new info as it becomes clear.

Maps & modes
Since Ranked Play isn’t available yet, we don’t have the full details of what to expect regarding maps and modes. However, as mentioned, Ranked Play [Trial Run] gives fans a glimpse of what to expect. This mode includes 4v4 versions of Domination, Occupy, Escort, and Zone Control.
