To the chagrin of many WWE 2K22 players, patch 1.15 failed to address some pretty drastic issues; meanwhile, a few missing features have yet to resurface.

WWE 2K20 launched in a disastrous state in late 2019, so much so that 2K Games permanently shelved WWE 2K21.

The hit wrestling series returned earlier this year, marking a massive step up from its dismally received predecessor. However, fans have noticed a few snags in desperate need of fixing.

For example, players realized not long after launch that a bug prevented them from saving Tag Team Finishers in Universe Mode. Multi-Man Matches have proven a point of contention, as well.

Many issues still linger in WWE 2K22 post-patch.

The June 27 patch for WWE 2K22 is now live across all platforms, adding stability and balancing improvements to the game. It also tackles concerns related to the ranges of certain moves, animation hiccups, and the ladder falling during ladder matches.

But some players have expressed disappointment in a number of troubles that remain untouched. Reddit user omccoyjr3 listed a few of them in a thread, noting that Tag Team Finishers in Universe Mode are still broken.

Multi-Man Matches continue to lack Comeback, too. And the Rivalry Compatible option in Universe Mode, which 2K Games removed in a recent update, has yet to return.

At the time of writing, neither developer Visual Concepts nor 2K Games have addressed if and when the above issues will be addressed.

WWE 2K won’t remain the only licensed wrestling game on the console market for long. AEW has partnered with former WWE 2K studio Yuke’s to produce AEW Fight Forever, a pro wrestling title currently in development for PC and consoles.
