There are a lot of creatures in Temtem so choosing the right ones for battling other players in PvP can be tricky – so our tier list has a breakdown of the best monsters in the game.

12 unique typings of Temtem exist and like Pokemon each type is effective against another. However, some monsters are still better to use overall in the current meta.

For a breakdown of the very best Temtem in February 2025, we’ve got all you need to know below.

Our tiers explained

Our tier list has been separated into 5 tables that reflect separate tiers. Creatures in the S-tier are the best in the game, while those in the D-tier should be avoided wherever possible.

Below we’ve got a breakdown of exactly what each tier means:

  • S Tier: The best Temtem to use in the game. Always worth having at least one of these in your party.
  • A Tier: Really effective Temtem that can handle most challenges.
  • B Tier: Not top tier monsters but still strong enough to make a decent impact on your team.
  • C Tier: These Temtem certainly aren’t the best but they can still be helpful against specific monster types.
  • D Tier: We’d advise against using these Temtem unless you’re particularly drawn to them.

Meta Analysis

A handful of Temtem have moved in our tier list rankings in February. This includes the Water / Ground hybrid Garyo, Water-type Oceara, and the Mental / Fire mix Aohi who have all jumped from A to S-tier.

On the opposite end of things, the Neutral and Melee Temtem Skunch has unfortunately dropped from A-tier down to C-tier, so we’d advise slotting another creature in its place if you were previously running him in your team comps.

S-Tier Temtem

Temtem in the S-Tier are the strongest in the game. They either possess raw strength or provide the best support for the entire team.

D-Tier Temtem

Creatures in D-Tier are the ones that you should try to avoid including in battles. They typically struggle to perform against most creatures and we’d recommend avoiding having them on your team wherever possible.
