Helldivers 2
Next up is Helldivers 2, which takes place on Super Earth as players take on the role of a peacekeeper/invader that are meant to kill the insectoid creatures that dominate the world.
With a sensibility that clearly borrows a ton from Starship Troopers, this game should be a fun ride for all.
Immortals of Aveum
Immortals of Aveum is a medieval-style first-person “shooter” where players use magic spells instead of weapons. The game will release on July 20, 2023.
Ghostrunner II
A sequel to the 2020 action platformer, Ghostrunner II promises a lot more of the highly-kinetic movement and combat that made the original so beloved.
Ghostrunner II will release later this year.
Phantom Blade 0
Phantom Blade is a gorgeous-looking samurai battler, which allows for players to engage in unique combat actions including wall-running.
It may look at lot like Ghost of Tsushima, but Phantom Blade promises to be much darker game when it releases for the PS5.
Sword of the Sea
Showcasing a very unique artstyle, Sword of the Sea lets players weild the Hoversword a hybrid of a snowboard, skateboard, and hoverboard all in one. Players can use it to skate through ancient ruins in a new take on skater games.
Sword of the Sea will release for the PS5, but does not yet have a release date.
The Talos Principle II
The sequel to 2015’s original, The Talos Principle II promises even more mind-bending puzzles for players to sink their teeth into.
The Talos Principle II will release in 2023.
Neva
With its typical unique animation of as many adorable animals as you could want, Gris’s upcoming game Neva promises a unique experience when it drops in 2024.
Foamstars
Replacing the paint of Splatoon with bubbles, adding the visuals of Dance Dance Revolution and the music of Persona, Foamstars promises a fun time for gamers. There is no known release date.
The Plucky Squire
A story-book style (literally) game, players will control the drawing Dot as he explores the world both on and off the page to defeat the evil Humdrum. The Plucky Squire is set to release later this year.
Teardown
With a blocky look that will draw quick comparisons to Minecraft and LEGO games, Teardown is a GTA-style heist and shooter game set to come to the PS5 soon.
Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater remake
It’s been a while since we’ve had a new Metal Gear Solid game, and it looks like we will be waiting a bit longer. However, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, is getting a much-needed revival.
The new trailer reveals that the remake of the 2004 action game will be releasing around Easter 2024.
Towers of Aghasba
It may not quite be to the level of Tears of the Kingdom, but Towers of Aghasba promises a similarly unique world and gameplay. The game is set to release in 2024.

With a combat style out of Hollow Knight, but a psychedelic color palate, Ultros promises plenty of thrill for fans of 2D platformers.
Ultros is coming to PS4 and PS5 in 2024.
Dragon’s Dogma 2
A major shocker was the announcement and first trailer for the sequel to Dragon’s Dogma, almost ten years after the original.
The release date for Dragon’s Dogma 2 is still unknown.
Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2
With news of a movie based on the iconic horror game coming soon, it seemed as good a time as any to reveal that a sequel is in the works to FNAF: Help Wanted. Players can strap back into the chair and get scared later in 2023.
Resident Evil 4: VR Mode
After the recent Resident Evil 4 remake, it seemed almost inevitable that we would get a VR port, which is exactly what Capcom delivered.
This game is currently still in development and no release date has been given.
Arizona Sunshine II
Witness the zombie apocalypse for yourself in virtual reality, as Arizona Sunshine II takes you into a desert overrun by the undead. Visit the Arizona Sunshine in 2023.

Spider-Man 2
No doubt, though, the biggest reveal of the Showcase was Spider-Man 2, which revealed that Kraven the Hunter was heading to New York to hunt more dangerous quarry. See our full breakdown here.
