Marvel Rivals game modes

Marvel Rivals offers five game modes at the Closed Alpha Test launch for players to enjoy the game. They are:

  • Tutorial: Learn the basic techniques of fighting as a superhero with Galacta.
  • Quick Match: Choose your hero, defeat enemies, and complete mission objectives.
  • Pocket Universe: Respawn at a flexible location and eliminate as many enemies as you can.
  • Custom: Create Customized Matches to play with or against your friends.
  • Competitive: Ascend through the ranks amid thrilling and intense battles.

We knew earlier that Marvel Rivals will offer two game modes: a King of the Hill style mode and an Escort mode. As the name implies, King of the Hill will have teams battle it out to control a point, while Escort will have players escorting some form of objective to an end goal.

Of course, this will change as we get closer to the game’s release, as we’ll likely get more information as the game enters Closed Alpha on May 10, 2024.
