PlayStation users across Europe, North America, and other major regions have been reporting an outage on the PlayStation Network on Tuesday, April 12. If you’re experiencing issues logging in and playing games online, here’s a quick rundown of all there is to know.
The PlayStation Network was last experiencing major outages on Tuesday, April 12.
Having since been confirmed by Sony, the issues appeared to be widespread across the network. From playing games online to simply logging in, PSN was seemingly impacted across the board according to the PlayStation Network site.
Some players reported that they could still access online services during this time, while many others didn’t have as much luck.

As you can see in the graph below, hundreds of players experienced difficulties on April 12 according to DownDetector, so if you went through similar issues, you weren’t alone.
Outages appeared to be short-lived, however. Just hours after PSN seemingly went down, services were restored. This means players around the world should once again be able to play their favorite games online without any interruptions.
