In order to attach bait to your Fiberglass Fishing Rod or Iridium Fishing Rod, simply follow the instructions below:

  1. Purchase bait at Willy’s Fish Shop or craft some using Bug Meat. 
  2. Open your inventory and pick up the bait (left-click).
  3. Now select the fishing rod you wish to use and attach the bait (right-click).

On Xbox, simply press ‘A’ on the bait, then hit ‘X’ on the rod. For PlayStation users, hit the ‘X’ button, then select the rod with ‘square’.
