Upgrading your weaponry, including swords, bows, and amulets, is vital in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. Our guide provides the knowledge you need for these upgrades.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown immerses players in a world of danger and enigma, offering an array of challenges and hidden truths to uncover. Sargon’s quest weaves through time-bending locales, paying homage to the series’ heritage.
To traverse Mount Qaf though, you’re going to have to master the aforementioned powers and defeat powerful bosses. This will take wits and mastery of the game’s combos and synergies. That, and having great reflex and pattern recognition in order to avoid getting hit.
However, striking a little harder or having stronger effects from your amulets isn’t a bad thing either. Thankfully, Prince of Persia lets you do that with a robust upgrading system that allows you to improve the things you’re most interested in. That could be building towards a powerful melee build, worrying entirely about survivability, or dealing some real damage with your arrows.
To customize your experience though, you’re going to need to know how. Here’s everything about upgrading your weapons and amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown.
How to upgrade weapons and amulets
To upgrade your weapons and amulets in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, you need to visit Kaheva’s Forge. You can access this by going to The Haven. The best way to get there is to travel to a Fast Travel point, and it is always the first choice. The forge is to the left of the travel point, where a golden archway appears.

Once here, speak to Kaheva. In her menu, move over to the upgrades tab. Here you will be able to upgrade your swords, bow, quiver as well as amulets.
It’s important to note that upgrades do become exponentially expensive. The first upgrade often only requires some time crystals, but later upgrades will require other, rarer resources like Xeres and Azure Damascus Ingot. These are generally found around Mount Qaf in hidden places.
