Redeeming game codes on Xbox Series X/S is fairly simple.

Fortunately, redeeming game codes on the Xbox Series X and S is incredibly simple. Make sure you boot up your console and follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Sign into the Xbox account you wish to redeem the game code on.
  2. From the Home screen on your console, select the Microsoft Store app.
  3. Scroll down to the Redeem Code section on the left-hand side of the screen (under your account name).
  4. Use the on-screen keyboard to enter your 25-character code that is featured on your code or gift card screen.

The process is a little different if you’re redeeming an Xbox Series X/S code via your browser, so follow the below instructions: 

  1. Head over to redeem.microsoft.com.
  2. Sign into the Microsoft Account you wish to redeem the code on.
  3. Enter your 25-character code to claim your game.
  4. Boot up your console to begin the download.
