Green Man Gaming has yet another big sale and this time it’s highlighting some much smaller titles, as well as a treasure trove of Ubisoft games.
The retailer Green Man Gaming is running another holiday-themed deal, as we come into the Chinese New Year period. With it being the Year of the Dragon, Green Man Gaming has burnt down prices with a mighty dragon’s breath.
This includes more recent games like Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Ready or Not, but also some much smaller games. However, if you want to get your fix of Far Cry, the sixth entry’s Game of the Year Edition is now 74% off, bringing it to $30.96, down from $119.99.
Also included is Monster Hunter Rise + Sunbreak, the expansion to the main game. This will run you $26, with a 52% saving.
For benchmarking fans, you can now get 3DMark – the tool we use over on tech reviews – for just $8.75, with a massive 75% saving.
Green Man Gaming’s Lunar Sale also has indie games
It’s not just the big titles that get the discount love, as there are a couple of indie games that you should take note of.
Donut County is a good time
A little rascal (raccoon) is causing giant holes to appear all over the place. You control those holes.
Each level is a tiny puzzle where you need to figure out a way to make the hole grow. Once it grows large enough, you can swallow even more things.

It’s a really cute game, with a chill vibe all the way through. It’s never frustrating or anything like that, more of an experience with a little thinking behind it.
Donut County also features a “bestiary” of all the stuff you manage to swallow and it’s a great read.
Wattam is Katamari for people who want to make friends
Made by the creator of Katamari and Noby Noby Boy, Wattam is a game about making friends. It’s another relaxed puzzler, where you control The Mayor. It’s up to you to increase your social circle with the kooky characters littered around by holding hands and exploding.
Yes, as you hold hands and build up the group – which can range from land mass to a turd – you’ll explode with happiness to the next scenario.
It’s totally bizarre and utterly funny seeing it play out, truly recommended, and is peak video gaming.
