The Las Vegas Raiders have shared the first photos of the so-called ‘Twitch Lounge’ inside of their brand new Allegiant Stadium, and it could be enough to make the arena one of the best in the NFL, if you’re a fan of gaming that is.
As most people who follow the National Football League will know, the Raiders relocated from Oakland in California to Las Vegas, Nevada ahead of the 2020 season. But, with fans not allowed at games yet, we haven’t gotten to see too much of what’s inside the team’s new digs.
However, on October 2, the Raiders shared a ton of shots and videos from inside the new arena, including some of the incredible-looking Twitch Lounge, located smack dab above the 50-yard line.
One look at the area is more than enough to make you want to take a trip to Vegas just to grab a pint and watch xQc’s stream, even if he is still on his seemingly endless Among Us kick.
The partnership between Twitch and the Raiders isn’t limited to some purple branding on one area of the stadium though, it will feature “interactive elements that are native to the Twitch experience, including streamer stations, Twitch viewing screens, esports competitions, and future Twitch events,” according to a press release from the team.

“Twitch is the home of esports and will be leveraging the company’s partnership with Allegiant Stadium to host a variety of real-world events and cement Las Vegas as the global hub for esports,” the release stated.
It will definitely be interesting to see what kind of esports events happen in Sin City, once people are able to travel and vacation once again. (Overwatch League Grand Finals 2021 anyone?)
Allegiant Stadium, which looks kind of like a Roomba possessed by Darth Vader, seems like it would be perfect for big-name esports events, with a 65,000 seat capacity and full AC to make gamers feel right at home.
Of course, this is the latest chapter of the NFL’s ongoing partnership with Twitch, which has seen top streamers like Timthetatman and NICKMERCS host Thursday Night Football matches on their own streams and even live at Twitchcon.
Furthermore, the team has confirmed that there are several high-end streaming stations in the lounge, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable to predict that a popular personality on the platform will make an appearance or two to stream live from a Raider’s home game at some point. It is Las Vegas, after all.
