No, as of writing Baldur’s Gate 3 doesn’t feature crossplay. However, the devs have officially confirmed it will come to the game in the future.
In an April 2024 community update posted on Steam, Larian confirmed that it’s “actively working on bringing Crossplay and a Photo Mode to Baldur’s Gate 3, but the work required to bring these to you means that these additions will likely be further down the road.” With Patch 7 likely still a few months away, we probably won’t see crossplay come to the game until late this year.

Before that, Larian’s Head of Publishing Michael Douse has said Larian had planned on adding crossplay since the early development of Baldur’s Gate 3. “It’s in the roadmap, and though we have an idea of when we’d like to get it ready, we don’t want to put a date on it until we’re sure,” he said.
It’s worth noting that if you are on PC and playing either on Windows or on Mac, it seems like you will be able to play with each other irrespective of whether you are using GoG or Steam.
