Diablo 4 is well into its sixth seasonal content update; the Season of Hatred Rising. The recent launch of Path of Exile 2’s early access has Diablo 4 players feeling a little left out as ARPG fans flock to the competitor. The seeming lack of any holiday-themed events to spice things up had been a major complaint on the game’s Subreddit.

Thankfully, it seems as if Blizzard had something planned all along. While the Slay Ride to Hell holiday event initially leaked via PlayStation Store notifications, Blizzard has now unveiled the full scope of what we can expect.

It’s in your best interest to do so because not only do these little critters carry heaps of gold, they also drop some pretty sweet loot. To incentivize players further, Blizzard is turning on the Mother’s Blessing for the duration of the event which will increase EXP earned and the amount of Gold enemies drop.

What’s even better is that the game will track the amount of Treasure Goblins killed during the Slay Ride to Hell holiday event and players can band together globally to unlock different tiers of rewards. There are five tiers in total and it’ll take a major community effort to unlock them all.
