Destiny 2’s pinnacle PVP activity, Trials of Osiris, returns yet again. If you want to know what this week’s featured map and weapon are, we have all that and more in this breakdown of the looter shooter’s most competitive game mode.
The Final Shape brings back Trials for yet another expansion, giving Guardians more opportunities to go head-to-head for glory. There are also two new weapons up for grabs: Aisha’s Care and the reprised Shayura’s Wrath – that you’ll be able to farm throughout Episode Revenant.
Trials of Osiris features a new map each week, keeping the experience fresh and allowing players of varying skill sets to shine. Some maps favor CQB, while others are more suited to Scout Rifles and Snipers. You’ll want to stay on top of the featured map to know exactly what loadout to use.
While you’re here, why not check out Xur’s location too and find out all about the Agent of the Nine’s rework in The Final Shape?

Trials of Osiris vendor rewards
These are the rewards you can earn by ranking up the activity’s dedicated vendor, Saint-14.
- Rank 4 – Upgrade Module (x3)
- Rank 7 – Enhancement Prism (x3)
- Rank 10 – Aisha’s Care (Strand Pulse Rifle)
- Rank 13 – Ascendant Alloy (x1)
- Rank 16 – Shayura’s Wrath (Void SMG)
Rather than the 3, 5, 7, and Flawless win thresholds previously required for rewards, players no longer earn specific weapon drops. Instead, you’ll earn Trials Engrams for leveling up your reputation with Saint-14 in the Tower’s Hangar.

Once a weapon has been received at least once, you can focus it for the cost of a Trials Engram – meaning farming rolls has never been easier. Also, you can get Adept gear and armor with higher stat rolls by going Flawless.
Trials of Osiris Passages explained
Everr since the mode’s revamp back in Season 15, Trials of Osiris’ Passages work a little differently. These items grant you access to the Trials playlist each weekend, and there are some important changes to note under the new system:
- Passages no longer track losses
- Passages now track up to 20 rounds won
- All Passages have had their prices significantly reduced
- Passages are now account-wide, meaning you can play and earn rewards on any of your characters using the same Passage
These changes and what they mean for you when gearing up for the playlist can be pretty confusing. Here’s a breakdown of every Passage and what they do:
- Passage of Mercy: Will now forgive two losses if you have not been Flawless for the week. Once you have been flawless, this will only offer one.
- Passage of Ferocity: This Passage grants you a bonus win after reaching three wins on your card
- Passage of Wealth: Will reward extra Trials rank on every win, the amount rewarded increases as your major rank increases. The
- Passage of Confidence: This Passage grants a bonus reward from the Flawless chest, but you can only acquire this card after already going Flawless that week
- Passage of Persistence: This Passage reduces the impact of losses by rewarding the weekly Adept weapon at seven wins, regardless of how many games it takes.
Trials of Osiris weekly reset time
Trials of Osiris will return on November 15, where it will run until the following weekly reset on November 12, bringing a new map and featured weapon into rotation.
Before diving into the competition, you’ll need to make a stop at The Tower’s hangar and talk to Saint-14, the vendor who oversees Trials. He’ll be your main source of rewards and the person who provides each of your Trials Passages.
