Worldle is another of the many games like Wordle on the internet, but instead of deciphering words, it tasks those adept at geography (or anyone looking to improve their skills) with naming countries solely based on their shape and location.
Each day, you’re given 24 hours to determine what country is being shown, with each incorrect answer displaying a distance that resembles how far your guess is from the actual country, acting as an extra hint.
The game is by no means easy, though, and with only six guesses before you’re locked out for the day, we’ve got some helpful Worldle hints and the answer itself so you can keep up your streak for today’s game on November 8, 2024.
Clues for today’s Worldle
If you’re not so sure you want the full answer spoiled to you just yet, here are some hints that we think will help you to guess today’s country a little bit easier:
- This country’s capital city is Vientiane.
- This country has four letters in its name.
- The country is situated to the south of China.

How to play Worldle
Playing Worldle is pretty easy to do, and while there are a few variations out there, you’ll want to head to this website to get started
- Once your page loads, today’s game will already be loaded up and ready to go. All you need to do is type your guess into the answer box.
- Depending on how close your guess is, you’ll get details telling you how far from the correct answer it is, and a directional arrow emoji to point you in the right direction.
- The site has links to Wikipedia and Google Maps on its page, and we’d highly suggest using the latter when playing – it’s incredibly useful if you’re a more visual person.
With the correct answer guessed, you can opt to play a bonus round if you so choose, or select one of the other different game modes available. These all relate to today’s country and will have you guessing the capital, flag, and population of the place amongst others if you’re looking to really test your knowledge.
Answer archive list
