  • Barrel: Lightweight
  • Front Rail: Pistol
  • Optics: Reflex
  • Magazine: Fast Mag
  • Stock: Folded

This AK-47 loadout for XDefiant is best because it’s designed to give you speed when handling the powerful assault rifle. This starts with the Lightweight Barrel, which gives you improved ADS and Movement Speed, at the slight cost of some damage range reductions.

This emphasis on speed is also carried over to the Pistol Front Rail to boost to your sprint-to-shoot time, as well as the Folded Stock that will increases Movement Speed.

The Fast Mag provides a faster reload so that you won’t have to worry about finding a hiding spot to reload your weapon. Finally, the Reflex Optics are a solid option to help improve your aim and accuracy from any range.

Our favorite secondary option to use with this AK-47 loadout is the M9 Pistol, as its semi-automatic firing is useful in tight quarters when reloading the AK-47 just isn’t viable.

Using a Frag Grenade is also a great way to clear out objectives and soften up your enemies before heading into a firefight.

Best AK-47 loadout for low recoil

AK-47 is notorious for having a high amount of recoil. So, here are the attachments you can use to get as low recoil as possible:

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Stabilizing Barrel
  • Front Rail: Angled Grip
  • Stock: Padded Stock
  • Rear Grip: Heavy Grip

Start with the Muzzle Brake which will provide horizontal recoil reduction while decreasing short and medium range by 5%.

The Stabilizing Barrel will reduce vertical and horizontal recoil by 2.5%. Since our goal is stability and low recoil, the Angled Grip can reduce horizontal recoil even more while providing 15% aim stability.

A stock attachment will cement the weapon’s stability so use the Padded Stock to improve recoil recovery, aim stability, and ADS control.

Finally, use the Heavy Grip for additional flinch resistance and a 2.5% reduction in horizontal recoil. If you need an optic, you should sub out the Heavy Grip for it.

For your secondary weapon, we would recommend the D50 here. It’s a close range monster that can easily take down enemies if they get too close, making for a great secondary option that can rival SMG TTK if you’re able to land shots.

Best AK-47 loadout for high damage

AK-47 is already a hard-hitting weapon. However, if you’re looking to up the numbers even more, here are the suggested attachments:

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Booster
  • Barrel: Heavy Barrel
  • Stock: Folded Stock
  • Magazine: Quick Mag
  • Rear Grip: Quick Draw Grip

Start with the Heavy Barrel, which will increase weapon damage by 5% while reducing the rate of fire by 10%. This is where the Muzzle Booster shines to increase the fire rate.

Use the Folded Stock to increase movement speed so you can always be on the move. This’ll hit your accuracy a bit, but the goal with this loadout is to hit hard and fast. The AK-47 fortunately has some great optics, but, if you find yourself needing a scope, this is the attachment you’re best off subbing out.

With increased movement speed, use the Quick Draw Grip, which let’s you draw your weapon faster after sprinting. Finally, pair this with the Quick Mag for additional ammo capacity and increased reload speed.

For your secondary weapon, use the M9. It’s consistent and reliable as a sidearm for when one mag isn’t quite enough to get you though the fight. Pair this with the Frag Grenade that’s great for zoning the enemy if tossed on a whim, or clearing a room after it’s cooked.
