Where to find every Fortnite Forecast Tower and how to use them

Forecast Towers can be found across Fortnite’s map during Chapter 5 Season 4, and here’s how you can find and use them during your matches.

Fortnite first introduced Forecast Towers onto the island map during Chapter 4 and they’ve remained ever since. By capturing a tower you will obtain forecast data, which will grant you information on where future storm circles will be located before enemy players have any idea.

This will therefore give you a strong competitive advantage against enemy players while trying to earn a Victory Royale and win a Battle Royale match. However, they can also be used to complete quests, such as the Part 6: Diamond in the Raft Story Quests during Chapter 5 Season 4.

Here’s everything you need to know about how to locate and use every Forecast Tower in Fortnite.

All Forecast Tower locations

There are a total of five Forecast Towers on the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 map, which are spread out across the island. Four of these are located fairly central to the map, while the final one is situated towards the southwest corner of the island.

Here are all the Forecast Tower locations marked on the map above:

1. North of Sandy Steppes on top of the mountain.
2. Southwest of Restored Reels on top of the hill.
3. On top of the hill next to the Estate Station landmark southeast of Doomstadt.
4. Northwest of Mount Olympus above the train tunnel.
5. Southeast of Reckless Railways on top of the hill next to the Dumpenhausen landmark.

You can land at any adjacent POI, equip weapons and consumables, and then travel to the Forecast Tower. However, these structures do not become operational until the first storm circle has formed, so you will need to appropriately time your move to avoid being surprised by opponents.

How to use

To use a Forecast Tower and obtain forecast data, you must first obtain a Forecast Tower Access Card by eliminating the head henchman who will be patrolling with a group of henchmen around the tower.

You must eliminate the head henchman to get the Access Card to secure forecast data.

You will then need to pick up the keycard, which will take up one slot in your loadout’s inventory. Finally, just head inside the black building next to the tower and interact with the computer to switch on the Forecast Tower and acquire its data.

It will then start making loud sounds as it starts up and the top of the structure will start glowing green to indicate it is now working. This will grant you the ability to view future storm circles which will appear on your map and last for the rest of your Battle Royale match.

During Chapter 5 Season 4, this will also cause you to complete the “Use a Forecast Tower” quest after using just one tower. By completing this Story Quest, you will earn 20,000 XP as your reward.
