Fortnite star Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney was absolutely stunned after being instantly killed thanks to a strange bug with the in-game boats.
Fortnite features a massive amount of varied content, with Epic Games adding a ton of new stuff with every update, from weapons and mobility to map updates and cosmetics.
One of the newest features are boats, which were added with Chapter 2. These vehicles help players get around quickly on both water and land, but Tfue discovered they can be very dangerous, too, as he was eliminated due to a weird bug.

During a usual Fortnite stream on Feb 13, the former FaZe member was charging at his opponents in a boat while destroying their buildings but was suddenly stopped and instantly eliminated – despite not being shot by any of the enemy players.
Tfue drove right into someone’s building as they placed down some stairs on top of him resulting in an instant “you have eliminated yourself” message, leaving the streamer sat staring at his screen, completely speechless.
His teammate Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff seemed equally confused as he was still battling, before realizing that Tfue had somehow been eliminated and asking “are you dead? Oh, you’re dead.”

It’s not quite clear what happened, but fans are speculating that it has something to do with the fact that Turner drove so close to someone as they were building, resulting in him being ‘crushed’ and eliminated.
If that’s the case, then it’s quite an unfortunate moment and fairly impactful bug, as it changes how aggressive players can be with boats and forces people to be incredibly careful around buildings.
Epic Games have yet to comment on the matter, but will surely be looking to find out why this is occurring and fix it as quickly as possible.
