More details have been revealed about the massive partnership that has been brokered between Fortnite developers Epic Games and the National Football League.
Earlier on November 5, Epic Games and the NFL revealed a collaborative project that will bring official team uniforms into the world of Fortnite Battle Royale.
All of 32 NFL team jerseys will be turned into an in-game outfit skin, any of which will be available for purchase in the Fortnite Item Shop starting November 9 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET.
Since then, the NFL has put out a press release declaring that in-game uniform skins will not be the only NFL-themed items coming to Fortnite.
“In addition to NFL team outfits, there will be football-themed emotes, harvesting tools, gliders, and even a referee outfit, so players can bring their passion for football into Fortnite.”

This is massive news in the wake of the initial announcement, since it indicates that the partnership between Epic and the NFL is slated to be a prominent one.
Furthermore, there will also be thorough customization options available for the players who purchase the NFL uniform skins.
Anyone who owns one of the in-game jerseys will be able to choose which team they want to represent and the number that they want to appear on the back (0-99), and both options will be available to players at all times.
This means that users can change the team and jersey number of their uniform skin as many times as they want, which is an unprecedented level of customization offered for a single cosmetic item in Fortnite.
It appears that the only aspect of these skins that will not be customizable is the gender, which players will have to pick when they first purchase the skin.
