New PS Plus Fortnite Point Patroller Recon Strike cosmetic bundle leaked

Epic Games

A brand new Playstation Plus exclusive skin and back bling has been uncovered by Fortnite leakers – keeping with the blue and white color scheme of other PS Plus exclusives.

For many players, Fortnite is all about proving that you’re a top dog in the battle royale scene by picking up as many kills, victory royales, and records as you can. Though, for others, it is all about standing out from the crowd.

Plenty of players like to amass a wide collection of cosmetics – be they skins, harvesting tools, back blings, sprays, or emotes – so that they can show how big of a Fortnite fan they are. Some cosmetics are pretty rare, either because they’ve not been in the item shop for so long or because you had to be at an event to get them. Though, Playstation players can also claim exclusive skins.

There have been a handful of PS Plus-only cosmetic sets including the Trilogy Outfit and Celebration Pack, and fans are always looking to get their hands on more.

According to renowned Fortnite data miner FortTory, it looks like they’ll be able to get another set soon enough. On April 13, the data miner revealed there is a new blue and white-themed skin called Point Patroller in the game’s files.

Accompanying the skin is an exclusive back bling called Recon Strike – again complete with a blue, white, and black color scheme. The back bling also has a small radio and set of grenades attached to it, giving the cosmetics some additional detail.

The Playstation Plus bundles have been free to PS Plus subscribers in the past, though, it is not yet confirmed as to whether or not players will be grabbing this set for free or shelling out some V-Bucks.

Sadly, there is no release date just yet for the leaked cosmetics so players could be in for a little bit of a wait. We’ll just have to wait and see as to what Epic and Sony do.
