How to watch Fortnite World Cup Finals Duos event

With the qualifiers in the rearview mirror, all eyes are set on the Fortnite World Cup Finals in New York City which take place July 26-28 with a Solos, Duos and Creative event.

The Fortnite World Cup Finals are the end of the 10-week tournament that featured $1 million in prizes each weekend.

This event takes place July 26-28 and features a separate day focusing on on the Creative, Solos, and Duos event. Each event features some of the best Fortnite players found around the world so there’s plenty of reason to tune in. The duo tournament will take place on Saturday July 27.

As well as the duo event, 100 of the world’s best players will battle it out in an attempt to claim the $3m grand prize in the solo tournament which takes place on Sunday July 28 featuring some notable names such as Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney and Timothy ‘Bizzle’ Miller.

How to attend the Fortnite World Cup 

You will be able to attend this event in person or watch online like you’ve been able to do with previous Fortnite tournaments.

Tickets for the event are on sale through Ticketmaster for $50 each if you’re trying to see the action unfold in person. For a much cheaper option, players will be able to tune in from the comfort of their own home.

Musician and Twitch streamer Jordan Fisher will be hosting the event.

How to watch the Fortnite World Cup

The vast majority of fans will be tuning in from home and they will be able to do that through the official Fortnite Twitch channel, the same way they were able to watch the qualifiers.

Participating players might also have the option to broadcast from their own channels but that might be more like the Pro-Am where they just hosted the official broadcast.

Watching through the in-game client will return as an option too if you don’t want to use Twitch.

9:30 AM EST: Fan Festival Begins – Doors Open

12:30 PM EST: Duos Finals – Preshow Start

1:00 PM EST: Duos Finals – Games Start

4:00 PM EST: Doors Close – No Additional Entry

4:45 PM EST: Solos Finals – Winners Ceremony

8:00 PM EST: Fan Festival Closes

8:00 PM EST: Stadium Closes

Who is in the Duos event?

Like the Solos event, a lot of start power is missing from the event including Turner ‘Tfue‘ Tenney and his partner Dennis ‘Cloak‘ Lepore, along with Tyler ‘Ninja‘ Blevins and his partner Reverse2K.

Reverse and Tfue will still represent themselves in the Solos event so it’s not a total loss for them. You can look at the complete list of participants here
