How to watch $400,000 Fortnite Twitch Rivals tournament – stream, players, and more

Epic Games / Twitch

Fortnite tournament is taking place across August 21  and 22, featuring 160 streamers competing against each other for a cut of $400,000.

Fortnite is well into Season 10 and while the mech meta has left numerous streamers unhappy with the game, they have continued to play and it remains one of the most-watched games on the Twitch platform.

Now, 160 streamers are going head-to-head in a team tournament for the chance to win a large chunk of money – by stomping on other their fellow streamers, with or without a mech.

How to watch Fortnite Twitch Rivals

Since this is a Twitch Rivals tournament, you’ll be able to catch all of the action on the official Twitch Rivals page.

Like other tournaments hosted on the channel in the past, you’ll have a set of casters calling the action but you’ll also be able to tune into the individual streamer’s channel if you’d like to watch the games there instead of on the main broadcast.

The tournament takes place across two days on August 20 and 21, with both days beginning at 1pm PST (4pm EST, 9pm BST).

Who is playing?

At this time, we don’t have a set list of all 160 players that will be playing, but a few big names have already said they’ll be participating.

This includes, but is not limited to, TimTheTatman, FaZe Clan’s Ewok, Dubs, and Megga. That just accounts for a tiny fraction of everyone playing and we’ll update this post once the complete roster is revealed.

Epic GamesMechs are a hot topic of debate in Fortnite Season 10.

What are the rules and format?

The games will feature both Duos and Squads competing in Creative and Custom matches, according to Smash.gg

We expect to learn much more about the rules and game types once the games begin on August 20.
