Metallica has been released into Fortnite, bringing a whole heap of content as the headliners for Festival Season 4. One of which is a series of Metallica quests that players can complete to earn exclusive rewards and XP.
The first Metallica quest players have been tasked with is to “Spray Metallica concert images at different locations” around the Chapter 5 Season 3 map.
Despite this sounding simple, it has confused many, so here’s exactly how to complete it and all the locations where you need to spray the Metallica concert images.
How to spray Metallica concert images in Fortnite
To spray Metallica concert images in Fortnite, you will need to head to one of the six spray locations across the map, then use your Emote wheel to put the Metallica concert spray onto the wall.
Once you open your Emote wheel during your match at these locations, you will automatically be given access to select the Metallica Lightning Star Spray. Just select this, and then spray this onto the wall.

The six Metallica concert spray locations are found at three main POIs on the Chapter 5 Season 3 map, and each POI contains two spray locations. These are all marked on the Battle Royale Island map above.
Here are the three POIs that contain Metallica concert spray locations:
- Reckless Railways
- Restored Reels
- Sandy Steppes
To complete the “Spray Metallica concert images at different locations” quest, you will need to spray three Metallica concert images. With two spray locations being present at each named location mentioned above, you will only need to visit two POIs, which should only take a few minutes.
Once you have completed the quest, you will then be rewarded with the Metallica Lightning Star Spray that you used during the task.
