Fortnite first unleashed Lewis Hamilton into the game during its record-breaking Chapter 4 Season OG.
The F1 legend has proved a popular skin choice for players ever since. Now, fresh off the back off the v28.20 update, Lewis Hamilton has been re-added into the game along with his original Outfits and cosmetic sets.
Despite some cosmetics not returning, the three main bundles have returned and all of his skins will also include a LEGO Style for each. Here’s exactly how to get Lewis Hamilton in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1.
Lewis Hamilton skin release date in Fortnite
Lewis Hamilton has re-released into the Item Shop in Fortnite on February 7, 2024, at 7 PM ET with the v28.20 update from Epic Games.
The F1 star and their related Outfits and cosmetics were first released into the Item Shop in Fortnite on November 17, 2023, at 7 PM ET. They then were later removed from the game and have since rejoined.
How to get Lewis Hamilton skin in Fortnite
In order to get the Lewis Hamilton skin and related cosmetics in Fortnite you would need to purchase them from the in-game Item Shop.
Once you’re there, simply select an item and hold down the Purchase button. Make sure to stack up on V-Bucks before you make the purchase.

The cheapest option if you are only interested in Lewis Hamilton’s Fortnite skin is to get the Lewis Hamilton bundle for just 1,500 V-Bucks, which also comes with his dog as a Back Bling to round it out.
Unlike before, all the skins in each bundle also come with a LEGO Style following the launch of LEGO Fortnite at the start of Chapter 5.
However, both the Lewis Hamilton Gear Bundle and Scootin’ Circles Emote, that was originally available when the collection first dropped in Season OG, have not returned to the Item Shop.
