The man-made creation Edward Scissorhands has arrived in Fortnite, and here’s everything you need to know about how to get his skin in the game.

Before Epic Games officially revealed the Halloween lineup for Fortnitemares, the community was already aware, thanks to leakers, that The Nightmare Before Christmas cosmetics were coming. 

What caught everyone off guard is that, in a surprising turn of events, another Tim Burton-related collab ended up getting included in this spooky season as well, featuring the iconic Edward Scissorhands.

This skin has now been added to the game, and here’s everything we know so far, including price, items, and more.

Edward Scissorhands release date

The Edward Scissorhands skin has been live in Fortnite since October 15, 2024 in the US and October 16, 2024 in the UK, as officially confirmed by Epic in a post on their Twitter/X account.

How to get the Edward Scissorhands skin

You can get the Edward Scissorhands skin by purchasing it from the Item Shop for 2,000 V-Bucks. Along with the skin comes additional cosmetics referring to iconic items and moments from the movie.

If you want an additional guitar based on the character, however, you can opt to purchase the whole bundle, which is priced at 2,500 V-Bucks.

These are all the items you’ll get from the bundle:

• Edward Scissorhands Outfit – 2,000 V-Bucks
• Rex Topiary Back Bling (included with the Outfit)
• Scissor Hands (included with the Outfit)
• Ice Sculptor Emote (included with the Outfit)
• Edward Axe-Hands Guitar – 1000 V-Bucks

You can also just purchase the guitar separately if you want. Other than that, it’s worth knowing that this skin does not have a LEGO style. This means the skin will automatically be changed to a random default LEGO variant if you enter the LEGO game mode.

You can find Edward Scissorhands walking around as an NPC at the Grand Glacier POI on this season’s map. The friendly in-game character is located on the west side of the hotel exploring the gardens.
