The Creative Finals will feature eight teams of four players, with each squad captained by a major figure in the battle royale community, including the likes of Ninja, FaZe Clan’s Cizzorz, Gotaga, Lachlan and more.
These players are earned their place in the Creative Finals after making it through the qualifying events that have taken place over the past few months, known as the Creative Trials.
Here is a recap of the Creative Trails, showcasing exactly how each of these players and teams made it all the way to New York City.

Creative Finals format
The competition will feature four different games, each of which will consist of three matches. The team that performs the best over those three matches will earn a silver llama for their efforts.
The final match, called Golden Games, will award a special golden llama to the winning squad, which could prove to be a tie-breaker of sorts if the llama count stands even at the end.
The team that finishes the four games with the most llamas will secure first place and the $1 million cash prize.
Who will be playing the World Cup Pro-Am?
This weekend’s Pro-Am will be the third ever running of the competition, and much like the previous two, it will be a very star-studded affair.
As usual, 50 prominent members of the Fortnite community have been paired with 50 celebrities, and they will all do battle for a $3 million charity prize pool.
Celebrities include athletes, musicians, actors, and others, some of whom are pretty proficient at Fortnite, while a few may have never even played the game before.
Ninja and popular DJ Marshmello will be teaming up for the first time since the pair claimed victory at the first ever Pro-Am last summer, while former League of Legends pro Airwaks and musician RL Grime will look to defend their title after winning it all last month in Los Angeles.

What format will be used at the Pro-Am?
Much like the Pro-Am that was held last month in Los Angeles, the one at the Fortnite World Cup features a scoring system that is based both on eliminations and placement.
Duos will earn one point per elimination, three points if in the top 15, five points if finishing in the top 10, seven points if they finish in the top five, and 10 points for a Victory Royale.
There will be a total of four matches played, and the Duo with the most points at the end will be crowned champions.
