Twitch Rivals and Epic Games have continued their partnership for Week Seven of the Fortnite ‘Summer Skirmish’ competitive series.
Much like Week Six, the scheduling for this week’s tournament will be different than the usual Summer Skirmish schedule; North American and European players will play their matches across both August 24 and 25, with each region playing five matches per day. The EU matches will begin 9AM PT, while the NA portion follows at 2 PM PT on both days.
Day one is in the books and Liquid Chap and FaZe Thiefs headlined with a North American victory.
The Fortnite Summer Skirmish is an 8-week series of competitions where Epic Games will be awarding a total of $8 million in prize money.
The competitions feature a variety of content creators, popular pro players, and top performers from previous in-game events.
Summer Skirmish Week 7 Format – Big Bonus
There is an all new format for Week Seven of the Summer Skirmish, thought it resembles the popular Kingpin format of previous editions.
Big Bonus rewards extra points for Victory Royales and 8 Eliminations much like Kingpin, however the points will be applied to the match you earn them on – instead of Kingpin’s method of enhancing the following match.

Each game, Duos will be ranked based on the points earned in a single game. Victory Royales and Eliminations earn players points that will be scored at the end of each match. The Duo with the most points at the end of the series wins.
