Tennp0 joins FaZe in several capacities; he will compete alongside his teammates in Squads, while also focusing on Solos and Duos modes.
As the tweet indicates, player Thang ‘SpaceLyon’ Phan has been removed from Squads contention, but will not be leaving the organization and instead will be focusing primarily on Solos/Duos.

This roster expansion and shift in team roles follows the massive June 12thannouncement from developer Epic Games regarding the upcoming Fortnite competitive season, which will feature a World Cup event in 2019.
In the reveal, Epic made it clear that the Fortnite esports scene will not solely focus on Squads and will incorporate Solos and Duos modes into the mix.
Just as they were one of the earliest major esports orgs to sign a Fortnite pro team, FaZe could be setting an early trend once again in terms of reorganizing their roster in anticipation of the $100 million 2018-19 competitive season.
It will be worth monitoring other prominent organizations, such as Team SoloMid and OpTic Gaming, to see whether they will follow suit.
