Fortnite Reload Best Landing SpotsDexerto

Find out the best Fortnite Reload landing spots in Oasis & Venture to get the best loot possible to prepare for the endgame.

While it’s essential to gather the best weapons and work together with your teammates to secure a Victory Royale in Fortnite Reload, one thing that can boost your chances of winning is picking the right landing spot from the very start.

At the beginning of Fortnite Reload, you can respawn every time you die as long as one person on your team is still alive. However, as soon as the match passes a certain time, that will no longer be the case – meaning that you’ll have to be very careful as you progress.

That said, knowing the best landing spots in this mode can help you get a better idea of where to prepare, gear up, and even rotate throughout the game right off the bat. Here is the list of the best landing spots in Fortnite Reload.

Top 5 landing spots in Fortnite Reload Venture

Best Landing Spots VentureDexerto
The Fortnite Venture map is smaller than that of the current season, but it’s still got plenty of ground to cover.

Here are the top 5 landing spots for Fortnite Reload Venture:

  • South of Dusty Docks
  • East of Retail Row
  • West of Tilted Towers
  • West of Pleasant Park
  • Lone Lodge

Dusty Docks

landing spots: Dusty DocksDexerto

South of Dusty Docks is a prime spot if you prefer a low-key start.

There’s an Abandoned Cabin here, nestled on a hill west of the docks, and it’s a treasure trove of loot. This area is loaded with golden and yellow regular chests, plus a rare blue-and-silver chest.

Even better, it’s out of the way, so you can usually loot in peace without anyone breathing down your neck.

For those who like to grab every piece of loot available, there’s a nearby campsite with another rare chest, making this spot a reliable choice for building a solid loadout right from the start.

Retail Row

landing spots: LlamaDexerto

If you’re looking for a spot with a bit more action but still manageable, the Llama Building east of Retail Row is an excellent choice. Shaped like the iconic Fortnite llama, it’s both quirky and practical.

This location has a rare chest as well as several golden and yellow regular chests, so there’s plenty of loot to go around. The best part is the Llama Building offers a great vantage point over Retail Row. However, getting up there is a challenge, especially in Zero Build mode.

Tilted Towers

landing spots: Tilted TowersDexerto

This spot is high-risk, high-reward, and if you’re up for a fight, it’s where you want to land. The buildings are packed with rooms and chests, giving you a high chance of scoring quality loot early on.

But be warned: dropping here means jumping into the fray from the get-go. If you survive the initial chaos, though, you’ll be well-equipped for the rest of the match and ready to steamroll your opponents.

Pleasant Park

landing spots: Pleasant ParksDexerto

Looking for a spot that balances safety and potential action? The Car Parking Lot northwest of Pleasant Park might be your best bet. This location has a car building with both a regular chest and a rare chest inside, and there are abandoned cars scattered around the area that often hold extra loot. It’s close enough to Pleasant Park to give you options—whether you want to venture in for more gear or set up a sneaky ambush for players rotating out of the town. It’s a solid landing for those who like a flexible strategy.

Lone Lodge

landing spots: Lone lodgeDexerto

Sometimes, you just want a quiet start, and that’s where Lone Lodge comes in. This remote location isn’t flashy, but it offers relative isolation for a more laid-back start to the match. You’re unlikely to run into other players here, giving you time to calmly gear up without the pressure of an early fight.

Plus, if you manage to get a sniper, you can climb the stairs to the treehouse and snipe all nearby enemies to death. They’ll never catch up to you.

Top 5 landing spots in Fortnite Reload Oasis

Fortnite Oasis map landing spotsDexerto
Fortnite Reload Oasis has a smaller map, but you can still make the most of it.

Here are the top 5 landing spots for Fortnite Reload in the Oasis:

  • Adobe Adobes
  • Southeast of Paradise Palms
  • Sunburn Shafts
  • East of Sunburnt Shafts
  • Lizard Links

Adobe Adobes

Adobe Adobes sits in the northeast corner of the map and boasts the highest chest count of any point of interest. Between what’s available in the main area and what is scattered around the outskirts, you’ll be set for the match – at least until you’re back in the air.

It’s not as crowded as Paradise Palms, so you’ll have a relatively safe start to loot every chest and floor drop before encountering other players. This is one of my favorite spots, but be ready to move out quickly as the storm closes in.

Southeast of Paradise Palms

Southeast of Paradise Palms, there’s a junkyard that’s far from junk. Inside the containers and atop stacks of scrap, you’ll find tons of yellow and gold chests – and if you search carefully, there’s even a rare blue-and-silver chest hiding among the debris.

It’s a safe landing spot, as almost no one drops here, and it’s conveniently close to the center of the map, where the real action is likely to unfold.

Sunburn Shafts

Sunburnt Shafts is another point of interest tucked along the map’s outskirts. This picturesque town is packed with empty buildings perfect for scavenging loot. Like Adobe Adobes, it’s not a popular player drop, so you’re unlikely to face much competition here. But the storm will catch up to you, so sweep through quickly before the purple health-eater forces you out.

East of Sunburnt Shafts

This POI might be better as a follow-up spot rather than a primary landing location, especially if the storm pushes you out of Sunburnt Shafts and you’re headed toward the center of the map.

Just a bit east of Sunburnt Shafts’ sunny beaches, you’ll find an abandoned factory complex with three buildings and an ice cream truck parked in the middle. There’s also a regular truck there, but it doesn’t have a chest on the roof – so it’s less exciting.

Being closer to the action-packed Paradise Palms, you may bump into a stray player or two, but with the loot this POI offers, you’ll be ready for any encounter.

Lizard Links is just across the river on the greener side of the Fortnite Reload Oasis map. This point of interest makes for a solid landing spot, with plenty of chests waiting for you inside its upscale houses and gazebos. Maybe it’s the lush surroundings, but I’ve noticed this place tends to be a bit more crowded than other areas.

Expect to see multiple footsteps roaming around the same building as you try to navigate the whole place. That said, if you can survive dealing with other teams who drop here, all the loot at the end makes the effort very well worth it.
