Cross-platform play is something FIFA players have wanted for a long time. Does FIFA 23 include crossplay for its players? Here’s what you need to know.
Players have been looking forward to crossplay in FIFA, aiming to unify gamers on different platforms for a better shared experience.
It’s understandably frustrating to not have crossplay available in your favorite game, after all, being able to join your friends for a game can enhance your experience. Cross-platform play in general has become much more prominent recently thanks to titles like Fortnite and Call of Duty, but FIFA 22 still didn’t include the feature.
Here’s everything you need to know about whether or not FIFA 23 is cross-platform.
Does FIFA 23 have crossplay on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, or PC?
Yes, FIFA 23 is the first game in the football series to support cross-platform play across different platforms. EA officially confirmed cross-platform play ahead of launch, and now fans can finally make use of this long-awaited feature.

Multiple 1v1 game modes such as Ultimate Team use the feature, and all platforms with crossplay share a single FUT Transfer Market. But you should note that crossplay is available for the same generation platform.
Sadly, crossplay doesn’t apply to modes with more than two players going head-to-head. This means the likes of Pro Clubs and Ultimate Team Co-Op can only be enjoyed with those on the same platforms.
FIFA 23 players will no doubt be over the moon that crossplay has finally come to the series, even with a few caveats. Hopefully, the feature will be expanded and improved upon in EA SPORTS FC 24 and beyond.
