On Sunday, FIFA revealed where the United States Men’s National Team will open the 2026 World Cup. And comedian Kevin Hart couldn’t be happier.
The USMNT will play all three of its group-stage matchups on the West Coast of the United States. The opening match takes place on June 12, 2026, at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California.
Seattle, Washington, will host the second game before the team returns to California for the third and final battle in the World Cup group stage.
On FOX, famous comedian and avid USMNT fan Kevin Hart spoke about his long history with soccer, dating back to his childhood. He also explained how his own kids have gotten him back into the sport. So into it that he’s teased the idea of getting a full back piece tattoo in honor of it.
Kevin Hart explains his fandom, teases a USMNT tattoo
“My love for the game started when I was younger. I think, now, being a soccer dad, you know, having kids that love the sport and have followed the sport — that’s given me a different [level of] passion,” Hart said on the broadcast.

When speaking about his rooting interests at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Hart yelled out “USA all day” numerous times.
He went as far as saying that he’d get that exact saying tattooed on his upper back — that way, Hart wouldn’t have to answer questions about his loyalty to USA soccer.
Said somewhat in jest, it’s hard to know how serious the long-time actor is about getting his body permanently inked. But the official USMNT X account took notice and put Hart’s feet to the flames.
Either way, the USMNT will have vocal fans in attendance when the team opens the World Cup on home turf. And Kevin Hart won’t be the only one.
