How to complete FIFA 20 St. Patrick’s Day SBC: Boys in Green/Leprechauns

EA SPORTS

EA SPORTS have added two brand new Squad Building Challenges to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in FIFA 20, with Flashback cards and a bonus pack available to unlock for a limited time.

The game’s developers have held Paddy’s Day events in the game in the past, including tournaments where people would build Republic of Ireland teams and compete for the chance to win rewards.

In FIFA 20, though, things will be a lot different, with limited-time SBCs with incredible rewards rolled out by EA. Completing the Boys in Green challenge will give you the difficult choice of having to pick one of three Flashback cards in Player Pick format, and you can also grab a pack for completing the Leprechauns team.

So, let’s take a look at those rewards, the requirements for these challenges, how much they cost and potential solutions as well.

How to complete St. Patrick’s Day SBCs in FIFA 20

Boys in Green Player Pick rewards: Flashback Coleman, McGeady and Long

Starting with the rewards, seen below, there are three Flashbacks available to choose from, ranging from 86 to 88 overall. These are Seamus Coleman (86), Aiden McGeady (88) and Shane Long (87). This is a non-repeatable reward, meaning it can only be done once, and will be available until March 21.

Boys in Green SBC cost and requirements

The Boys in Green SBC in FIFA 20 isn’t actually too expensive, considering how pacy all three of the reward cards are. They would make fine additions to teams, particularly Premier League Ultimate Teams.

According to the FUTBIN database, it costs around 86,000 on PlayStation 5, 93,000 on Xbox One and almost 89,000 on PC. Do keep in mind, however, these prices will fluctuate depending on how many players are looking to complete the SBC.

Requirements can be found below:

  • In-form players: Min 1
  • Squad rating: Min 85
  • Team chemistry: Min 75
  • Reward: Flashback Player Pick (Coleman, McGeady, Long)

Here is one way the Boys in Green SBC can be completed in FIFA 20. Just the one in-form card will suffice.

Now that the first challenge is out of the way, you will be able to pick up one of the three Flashback cards. However, there’s then the small matter of the second St. Patrick’s Day SBC – Leprechauns. Let’s take a look at how to complete it.

FIFA 20 Leprechauns SBC reward, deadline and cost

Just for completing the Leprechauns Squad Building Challenge, players can pick up one Rare Players Pack – which is worth 50,000 coins. However, you can get it for a fraction of that price for a limited time, as this SBC is only sticking around until March 20. It is also non-repeatable.

The cost of this one varies, again, depending on platform. According to FUTBIN, it’s setting PlayStation 4 players back 10,000 coins, Xbox One players 14,000 and on PC, just 10,000 as well, making it totally worth doing.

Leprechauns SBC requirements and solution

Starting with the requirements, you only have to make one team, just like the Boys in Green. However, there are a few more restrictions with this. Check it out:

  • Number of players from Republic of Ireland: Min 1
  • Same league count: Max 3
  • Same club count: Max 2
  • Rare: Min 6
  • Squad rating: Min 75
  • Team chemistry: Min 85
  • Player in team: 11

The solution for this challenge can be found below. Again, remember the market may fluctuate, so some may be more expensive than others, and having loyalty on one of two players helps as well. Here, though, you shouldn’t need any loyalty at all.

FUTBIN
A player with loyalty adds an extra one to a team’s chemistry, but you won’t need that here.

So, there you have it! While many people across Ireland, and other parts of the world too, will be celebrating St. Paddy’s Day with a pint of Guinness, you can celebrate in FIFA 20 by reaping the rewards of these two challenges. Have a good one!
