Galatasaray midfielder Younès Belhanda has had his star-studded FIFA 20 Ultimate Team starting XI revealed, and there’s a serious mix of talent in there.

Belhanda has made 24 appearances for his team this season, racking up five goals and two assists in all competitions to boot.

Galatasaray are on a 10-game winning streak at the time of writing and placed third in the Turkish Super Lig, behind only Istanbul Basaksehir and Trabzonspor. It seems, though, that Belhanda has brought his game to the virtual world, too, and made a near-formidable squad in Ultimate Team.

Belhanda is no stranger to winning.

The Moroccan has opted to not include any of his national or domestic peers in the squad in lieu of making as strong a team as he can, which fits the mold of what top players are playing with.

He’s got the likes of Zinedine Zidane and Neymar mixed in with some slightly more surprising choices, and it’s fair to say the squad definitely would be the envy of most players. However, the very best might have some questions about Belhanda’s choices.

Younes Belhanda’s FIFA 20 Ultimate Team starting XI

  • GK: Marc-Andre ter Stegen (91)
  • LB: Alex Telles (87)
  • CB: Rio Ferdinand (85)
  • CB: Raphael Varane (89)
  • RB: Nelson Semedo (82)
  • LM: Neymar (92)
  • CM: N’Golo Kante (97)
  • RM: Lucas Moura (87)
  • CAM: Zinedine Zidane (94)
  • CAM: Claude Makelele (87)
  • ST: Younes Belhanda (99)

In the comments of the Reddit post, some users said that they find the team odd, mainly because besides Belhanda’s 99-rated card and Zidane, it’s a pretty attainable team, unlike the maxed-out squads you typically see real players have.

The most notable inclusions are that of a regular Gold Semedo at right-back, and Lucas Moura at right-midfield, which are two cards many players will own or previous had in their sides.

At least if Galatasaray somehow fails to qualify for European competition this season, Belhanda might have a good chance at doing well in FUT Champs and representing the club in another way. That does seem very unlikely, though.
