Team Liquid have signed former CSGO pro Elias ‘Jamppi’ Olkkonen while Valorant in-game leader Adam ‘ec1s’ Eccles has been benched from the active roster.

Liquid Jamppi announced
After his long and publicized battle with Valve to reverse an apparent VAC ban his account accrued when he was 14-years-old, Jamppi is now switching to Valorant.
Team Liquid are hoping to reverse their fortunes in the EU Valorant Champions Tour, after missing a top 4 spot in Challengers 1 and failing to get out of the open qualifiers in Challengers 2.

What’s next for Team Liquid?
Jamppi will join a team led by former CSGO superstar Adil ‘ScreaM’ Benrlitom with plenty of firepower in the wings via Dom ‘soulcas’ Sulcas and Travis ‘L1NK’ Mendoza.

Team Liquid and Jamppi are expected to play in Challengers 3 open qualifiers on March 2 to start their last bid for qualifying to the first VCT Masters event later that month.
