xQc is now enforcing a controversial new rule for his chat

Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel is now enforcing a new rule in his channel, banning anyone who breaks it – after getting fed up with bad song choices from his viewers.

xQc uses a site called ‘Plug DJ’, which allows his viewers to link songs to play next, essentially giving his viewers free reign over what music is played during his streams.

However, despite giving his viewers such power, xQc is still picky over what he likes to hear – to the point that if someone links something he isn’t fond of, he will hit them with a ban.

This new rule was introduced after a viewer had requested ‘Riptide’ by Vance Joy, a 2013 song which has admittedly been somewhat overplayed since, which xQc called “sleeper (boring) as hell.”

“Guys, there’s a new rule, if you link something like this, if you’re on Plug DJ, and you request shit like this, you’re fucking banned,” the former Overwatch pro explained.

After skipping Riptide, the next song in the queue played, which equally wasn’t to xQc’s liking, and so instantly exclaimed “also banned.”

How exactly his viewers are to know when a song will be to Lengyel’s liking is unclear, but presumable 2013 pop songs aren’t the way to go.

With thousands of viewers regularly tuning in, there will likely be a few who missed this rule and face the fate of the ban hammer unknowingly, just for requesting their favorite Vance Joy song.
