xQc banned on Twitch after in-game woman shows ‘too much’ of herself

Popular Twitch streamer and Overwatch pro Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel has been banned from Twitch, after playing a risque video game that got a bit too graphic during a February 29 broadcast.

The game, as shown by a video ripped from his offending stream, shows Lengyel playing a game of connect four with a scantily clad female character.

After winning their connect four duel, xQc was given the option of removing the character’s bra: After clicking “yes,” the scene shifted to show the character completely in the buff, causing him to quickly click away from the game window.

While we won’t show the clip here, those curious can see what happened by clicking this link.

However, it doesn’t seem like his precaution was enough, as his Twitch channel was promptly suspended – and while we are unsure as to the exact reason for the ban, his latest stream could point to a major factor in why he is no longer able to broadcast, at present.

That’s not all: Tweets across the net also claim that xQc’s Discord has been banned, as well, although the reason for this development (and the legitimacy of these claims) is still unknown at the time of writing.

This isn’t the first time Lengyel has been banned for showing adult-themed content during his broadcasts, either; the star received a ban in July 2019 after watching a YouTube video titled, “Safe for Work ***,” which showed adult-themed videos covered up by cartoons that showed the actors performing much more family-friendly tasks.

While the streamer was banned for a three-day period for the offense, there’s no telling how long his latest ban will last, just yet.

Twitch star ‘xQc’ has received a ban after playing an adult-themed game.

That’s not all: those who watched his latest stream also claim that xQc used a cheat code to get around the game’s normally blurred nudity, which may have been a contributing factor to his February suspension.

Twitch’s guidelines state that “nudity and sexually explicit content or activities” are prohibited on their platform, although they do make exceptions depending on the context of the situation, as in “educational contexts or for pre-approved licensed content.”

While xQc’s Discord was reported to have been banned, claims are now suggesting that the channel is back online, although these allegations have yet to be verified.
