Twitch streamer Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel had the perfect analogy describing Twitter outrage culture following the recent bans of Mizkif and Esfand after the two were seemingly banned out of nowhere.
Ever since his move to full-time streaming, xQc has had a lot of controversial moments and now he’s making waves again after sharing his thoughts on outrage culture.
There’s a very vocal crowd of people out there who think people are too offended in 2019 and it looks like you can add xQc to that list.
This video is a great analogy
xQc watched a video on his stream of two people playing ping pong while explaining how it related to outrage culture.
He shows one person serve the ball aggressively at the other, hitting them in the head and causing that person to defend themselves by knocking down the table and going after the attacker.

“We’re about to see an offended Twitter person in its natural habitat,” he explained.
It’s a timely analogy as it’s coming on the heels of streamers Mizkif and Esfand being banned on Twitch from something they had done weeks ago.
Mizkif and Esfand were banned for what they called a joke
The two streamers were broadcasting live at PAX East 2019 when they came across another streamer/cosplayer who went up to Mizkif and told him to call her ‘daddy’ among other things.

Mizkif and Esfand thought this was a joke and went along with it, eventually leading Mizkif to say she “sucked his dick.” A few days later Esfand said she DM’d him on Twitter explaining she didn’t appreciate that and now a month later we have seen Mizkif and Esfand banned on Twitch.
Of course, this is just one side of the story but both Mizkif and Esfand have appealed to Twitch in an effort to lower or remove their 7-day ban.
