Though the Stanley thief’s name is unknown at this time, when she was arrested by police, she was found with 65 tumblers jam-packed into the trunk and passenger seat of her sedan.
The stolen Stanleys varied in color and style, making it seem as if the woman took whatever she could get ahold of.
As of now, there has been no comment from the woman. However, The Roseville Police Department released a statement on their Facebook after the arrest, saying, “While Stanley Quenchers are all the rage, we strongly advise against turning to crime to fulfill your hydration habits.”
Though the woman cooperated with the police, she refused to stop for staff at the store. Her reason for stealing the Stanleys is also unknown. However, she was the only person seen leaving the store with the popular water bottle.
